The Sacred Mirror Ritual

Best time to do it: Evening, preferably right before bed.

Purpose: To reconnect with your authentic self and affirm your worth outside of productivity or relationships.

What You’ll Need:

• A mirror (any size)
• A candle (any color)
• A bowl of water
• Journal or paper + pen
• Your favorite music or silence

Steps:

1. Set the Mood
   Dim the lights. Light your candle. Place the mirror in front of you and the bowl of water beside it.
2. Cleanse Your Energy
   Dip your fingers in the bowl of water and lightly splash your face. As you do, say:
   “I release the roles I’ve performed today. I return to myself.”
3. Look into Your Eyes
   Gaze softly into the mirror. Hold your own eye contact. Don’t flinch. Let any thoughts pass. This is your moment with you.
4. Speak Aloud
   Say these affirmations aloud, pausing between each:
   • “I am enough just as I am.”
   • “My presence is powerful.”
   • “I love the parts of me that no one sees.”
   • “Every version of me is worthy of love.”
5. Write Your Truth
   In your journal, write the phrase: “I feel most myself when…” and let your truth flow without judgment.
6. Close with Gratitude
   Thank your reflection for showing up. Blow out the candle. Pour the water into a plant or on the earth as an offering.
